 | | Dave Eaton is a Partner and Group Sector Leader with Global Novations, an international management consulting firm specializing in leadership development, talent management, and market expansion. Mr. Eaton leads Global Novations' work in the technology, manufacturing, utilities and energy, and professional services industries. An experienced global consultant, he specializes in the areas of cultural integration, multinational teambuilding, global leadership development, global mergers and acquisitions/joint ventures, and large-scale, cross-border project consulting. He is a frequent speaker in public and private company forums, having facilitated more than 500 workshops, team work-outs and 1:1 coaching sessions for more than 100 clients in the Global 1000. He has delivered keynote addresses across the globe in places as diverse as Chile, Scotland, France, Denmark, China, UK, Brazil, Switzerland, Mexico, and throughout Canada and the USA. In 1993, Mr. Eaton founded Eaton Consulting Group, which later merged with Meridian Resources (creators of GlobeSmart) to form Aperian Global (2005), the world's largest, privately-held, cross-cultural training/consulting/webtools company, where he held the position of Founder/Owner/ Practice Leader through 2009. His most recent work focused on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other globalization work-streams. Mr. Eaton has broad experience across a range of industries, and his clients have included Wal-Mart, Fidelity, Deere, Samsung, Lego, Cisco, Timken, Bharti, Dell, Ernst & Young, Danfoss, Microsoft, Alcatel-Lucent, Novartis, and Bechtel. Mr. Eaton has consulted, coached, and facilitated multinational teams on a diverse range of projects including: building a new motorway (Albania) and an oil and gas separation unit (Kazakhstan); establishing a new "greenfield site" (Russia); managing a major joint venture (India); relocating a manufacturing plant (Mexico); launching a new captive outsourcing facility (India); and post-acquisition integrations in Japan, Germany, Taiwan, Italy, Romania, and China. Mr. Eaton has a Masters in Intercultural Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA . He is a member of, and speaker at, a wide array of professional associations in Human Resources (SHRM, ASTD, HCI, HRLF), Global Mobility (ERC), and other industry conferences (Conference Board, NASSCOM, and Project Management International). He has been an invited guest lecturer at major business schools and universities including Harvard University, Emory University, Boston University, and Babson College. He has written numerous articles on the topics of globalization, global teams, global leaders, global M&A/JVs, global project management, global sourcing, global manufacturing, and global HR/OD. He is currently writing his first book on global best practices in cultural integration, which will highlight multiple case studies from intriguing projects he has worked on with clients over the past 20 years. Mr. Eaton lives with his family in Concord, MA, just outside of Boston.
