Jill M. Berkemeier is the Chief Financial Officer of Global Novations, LLC and previously held the top financial executive position for the former Global Lead, LLC. She directs all accounting and financial functions including analytics and related strategy, financial modeling, development and implementation of process improvement and cost savings initiatives, and mergers/acquisition activity. Key initiatives successfully executed under her leadership include the consolidation of all accounting and financial functions in-house with significant cost savings; the setup of financial systems and enhanced reporting; implementation of a company-wide professional services automation system to improve time and expense tracking and automation of client invoicing; and the centralization and integration of the accounting, finance, human resources and information technology functions for the Simmons Associates acquisition. Further, Jill played a vital role in the due diligence, closing procedures and integration activities for the Global Novations transaction and is a critical member of the Integration Steering Committee.
Prior to her employment with the Global companies, Jill spent ten years in the service industry in various accounting and finance roles after four years in public accounting and internal audit, continually growing and advancing along the way. In 1994, Ms. Berkemeier began her career as a Staff Accountant at VonLehman & Company, a regional public accounting firm, focusing on the audit of small-midsized privately held organizations which led to her Senior Internal Auditor role at Chemed Corporation, a publicly held holding company. She was then promoted to Assistant Controller at Service America, a subsidiary of Chemed Corporation, where she managed the accounting, budgeting and reporting functions before advancing to Project Manager leading the company-wide implementation of a fully-integrated ERP system impacting every aspect of the business. Jill moved on to serve as Director of Financial Analysis at CBS Personnel Services, LLC, where she executed operational and financial analytics and reporting; drove financial modeling, valuations and projections; developed and implemented a company-wide forecasting and budgeting process; standardized and consolidated all accounting and finance functions for all company-owned subsidiaries; and directed transaction activities related to due diligence, modeling, reporting and integration for various transactions including acquisitions, public IPO filing and debt refinancing.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from Thomas More College with a major in Accounting and minor in Business Administration with recognition as an Outstanding Student in Accounting from the Financial Executives Institute and Honoree designation from the Institute of Management Accountants. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
